Deuteronomy 15:11

the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee,
saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor,
and to thy needy, in thy land."
Cut to the chase: there will always be poor, pathetic, and needy. Tend to those in your neighborhood.

I'm catching up on your blogs and I absolutely agree that the drawing on your toaster meant black toast=dark toast and white toast=light toast. What else could it possibly mean?
