It's not so much that I am a morning person as it is that Mother Nature is. This week's Morning Saunters presented:
3 deer, 5 bunnies, Canada Geese,2 coyotes (chasing aforementioned geese),2 Scissortail Flycatchers, 2 orioles, a skunk (live! not roadkill!), 3.5 snakes, a fox, an indigo bunting...

Did you shoot the skunk?
He was very pretty! Not your normal skunk (dead?). He was "frosty" more than black w/ a white stripe. And a happy wanderer.
The 2nd deer walked parallel to me for about 1/2 mile, pausing to look at me, but not alarmed by me. I thought maybe I should scare the wits out of it to prepare it for fall's hunting season, but I was enjoying it too much.
