I began my day with a hike on the Konza Prairie. It was clear and I could see for miles. In the woodsy area, I saw woodpeckers. Plural. Multiple Red-Headed Woodpeckers. 
How pretty, and interesting! Back at home, I saw a baby Red-Bellied Woodpecker exploring on one of our trees. I have never seen a baby Red-Bellied Woodpecker before. 
Compared to its much larger parents, this guy was a little tyke.
